New Laws on Refinancing
Hello everyone and we hope you had a nice Easter weekend with family and friends,
With all of the hoopla around mortgages and tax breaks, another change has just started to take effect in the mortgage community. Since rates are still very low, many want to refinance their mortgage but are finding that they are "upside down" as home values have gone down in certain areas up to 20%. This new law allows homeowners to still refinance, some with no documents, up to 105% of their home value with no appraisal.
Of course, there are many restrictions and other stipulations, but one of our clients did let us know that they were able to secure a new mortgage with no income verification while dropping almost a full point on the rate. They also did not have to have an appraisal and are getting a month with no mortgage payment.

Of course, one can always call on us to answer questions and our team of professionals will get your moving in the right direction.
There's so much going on right now and we would be happy to answer your questions.
